We first met Mike Conger, owner of Grand Contracting over the phone when we were interested in buying a home he had started building in Grand Elk. We were so impressed talking with Mike. He builds only the highest quality homes using the highest quality products and he enthusiastically explained each aspect of the building process. We went on to purchase that home and spent much time with Mike picking out the various amenities that were to be in our home. During that time, we were again impressed with Mike's desire to build us a home that met our needs. He did just that!! Mike is very concerned with quality and that each and every detail is completed to perfection. He is a man of great integrity and if something wasn't right, he made it right. Building our home was a pleasure! He went above and beyond our expectations every step of the way. We highly recommend Mike to anyone considering building a home.

When screening choices of contractors for our new Grand County home, we looked for someone who was a good listener, honest, had good references from previous clients, sub contractors and banks. We found all of those qualities in Mike Conger and Grand Contracting. Now that we are 3/4's complete with our build, we remain impressed with how Mike hears our needs, provides honest and timely response/feedback; is budget and schedule conscious and is building for us a high quality, green built home that has the look, feel and cost we had hoped for.

We selected Grand Contracting as our builder, not only on the fact that they build the highest quality custom home, but due to the trust level we had with Mike and Isabel. Although not being able to visit the project site frequently, we had constant communication with Mike and were confident that our project was progressing as planned. Grand Contracting has the experience and knowledge to manage the project from start to finish. If we were to ever build again, we would place one call, that being to Grand Contracting!

For the past year we have had the pleasure of knowing Mike Conger, President of Grand Contracting. We have gone through the planning phase for our future home in Grand County and look forward to it's construction. The architectural plans were completed by Architect Scott Munn of Granby ,Colorado. The experience has been most professional with our satisfaction their utmost concern. Their patience was greatly appreciated as we went through the process.The plans for our home are beautiful and just what we had hoped for. Grand Contracting has completed two projects for us---upgrading a deck and some pond docks with composite lumber—of which both resulted in a final product that was attractive to the eye, sturdy in craftsmanship and finished on-time and on-budget. Mike Conger was an attentive and involved contractor on both projects and I certainly extend my recommendation of his services to others without hesitation. Also very much appreciated were the “little things” that actually leave as lasting an impression as the final product---cutting the old deck and dock boards into small enough pieces for use in the fireplace and literally fishing out construction debris from the bottom of the pond.
